DOSAGE: The advice of a doctor should be \dL3T sought before commencing therapy for the \ ^ first time. The usual dose for long term use, is V 1 or 2 tablets once daily. In some circumstances \ a higher dose may be appropriate, especially in the short term and up to 4 tablets a day may be used on the advice of a doctor. Do not give to children aged under 16 years, unless on the advice of a doctor.

Please read this leaflet carefully before taking your medicine.
WHAT IS IN DISPERSIBLE ASPIRIN 75mg TABLETS?
• Each dispersible tablet contains 75mg aspirin as the active ingredient. The tablet also contains starch, sodium saccharin, lactose, citric acid, calcium carbonate, talc and sodium lauryl sulphate.

WHAT ARE DISPERSIBLE ASPIRIN 75mg TABLETS USED FOR?
Dispersible Aspirin tablets help to prevent heart attacks and strokes in people who have previously suffered these conditions or who have undergone by-pass surgery.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USING DISPERSIBLE ASPIRIN 75mg TABLETS?
Before commencing long term use of Aspirin you should consult your doctor who will advise you on the relative benefits versus the risks of this therapy.
Do not take:
• If you are allergic to Aspirin or similar medicines.
• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients particularly lactose |

Not for children aged less than 16 years.
DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE. You should contact your doctor immediately if too much is taken.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose. If it is, do not take the
missed dose at all. Never double-up on a dose to make up for one that you have missed.
WHAT SIDE-EFFECTS CAN BE CAUSED BY DISPERSIBLE ASPIRIN 75mg TABLETS?
Unexplained stomach pain or any sign of bleeding of the stomach. Unexplained wheezing and shortage of breath, skin rash, hives, itching, bruising or facial swelling and very rarely skin peeling. Hearing disturbances such as tinitus, dizziness or mental confusion.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice these or any other unwanted effects not mentioned above.
