HOW SHOULD YOU TAKE YOUR CAPSULES ?
ADULTS AND THE ELDERLY

To treat pneumonia: The usual dose is 500 mg four times daily.
To treat a urinary tract infection: The usual dose is 500 mg three times daily.
To treat gonorrhoea: A single dose of 2 grams of Ampicillin may be given. If you suffer from serious kidney problems your doctor may prescribe a lower dose to that stated above.
