1. What bonjela Junior gel is and what it is used for
It contains a local! anaesthetic called (ignocaine hydrochloride, which relieves pain ana irritation and an antiseptic Icalled cetylpyridinium chloride, which kills bacterja and helps prevenf infection, bonjela Junior gel is intended for jadults, the elderly and children over 3 months.
2. Before you use bonjela Junior gel
As with all medicines, bonjela Junior pel may not be suitable for everybody.
Do not
■ use if you are! or your child is allejrgic to lignocaine or other local anaesthetics
■ use if you are or your child is allergic to any of the other! ingredients listed In Section 6
• use if you ha\|e or your child has liver or heart problems. | |
give to babies under 3 months jof age. Taking other medicines bonjela junior gellshould not be takeif when taking medicines treating high blood pressure (propranolol), stomach conditions (cimetidine) or water-retention (rfiuretics). |
Speak to your pharmacist or doctor before taking this product with lother medicines. !

bonjela Junior! gel is an oromucospl gel and is used fo relieve the pain and discomfort of common mouth ulcers. Bonjela Junior gel is a clear, almost colourless gel) which is applied to! the ^s^e of the fnouth or gums.

|.ike all medicines, bonjela Junior gel can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them, if you experience any side effects,' such as bluish [colouring of the skin, headache la[ck of energy, [shortness of breath, itchy or irritated skin please contact your doctor or pharmacist!.

5. How to store bonjela Junior gel
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use bonjelja Junior gel after thd expiry date which is stated on the carton and tube.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not store above 25°C. !
Medicines should! not be disposed of Via wastewater or house hold waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These njeasures will help to[ protect the environment.

The active substances (which make the medicine ! work) are lidocairle hydrochloride 0.5! % w/w and [ cetylpyridinium chloride 0.025% w/w[ The other ! ingredients are ethanol (alcohol), glycerol, banana [ flavour (with Propylene glycol), sodiufo saccharin, i carbomer, triethanolamine and water. [
