4 POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

Like all medicines this product can cause side effects, but not everyone gets them.

If any of the following or other side effects occur, stop taking this product and consult your doctor or pharmacist:

•    May cause Diarrhoea.

•    Allergic reactions such as skin rash (which can sometimes be severe and include peeling and blistering of the skin); swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat; difficulty breathing (anaphylaxis) -seek medical help if severe

•    Stomach pain, excess acid.

The freguency of these side effects occurring is not known.

5.    HOW TO STORE POTTER'S SLIM AID TABLETS:

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use Potter's Slim Aid Tablets after the expiry date. The expiry date is printed on the label and base of the carton.

Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original packaging.

Return any unused medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

6.    FURTHER INFORMATION:

Each coated tablet contains:

45 mg of extract (as dry extract) from Bladderwrack thallus (Fucus vesiculosus L.) (5:1) (eguivalent to 225 mg of Fucus)

Extraction solvent: Water

30 mg Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale

Weber exWigg)

27 mg of extract (as dry extract) from Boldo Leaf (Peumus boldus Molina) (4-6:1) (eguivalent to 108-162 mg of Boldo leaf)

Extraction solvent: Methanol 70% v/v 10 mg Butternut bark (Juglans cineraria L.)

This product also contains:

Glucose Monohydrate, Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Croscarmellose Sodium, Shellac (E904), Sucrose, Kaolin Light, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Red Iron Oxide 17266 (E172), Yellow Iron Oxide 17268 (E172), Maltodextrin, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.

What Potter's Slim Aid Tablets look like and the contents of the pack:

Peach round biconvex sugar-coated tablets available in containers of 84,90,100,120 and 180 tablets. Not all pack sizes may be marketed.

1.    WHAT POTTER'S SLIM AID TABLETS ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE USED FOR:

Potter's Slim Aid Tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product used as an aid to slimming as part of a calorie controlled diet, based on traditional use only.

2.    BEFORE YOU TAKE POTTER'S SLIM AID TABLETS:

Do not take Potter's Slim Aid Tablets:

•    if you are under 18 years or elderly

•    if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, iodine or to plants from the Asteraceae (Compositae) family e.g. daisies, marigolds or artichokes

•    if you have kidney or heart failure

•    if you have diabetes

•    if you have a thyroid disorder or taking medicines for this

•    if you take medicines or products containing iodine

•    if you have liver disease

•    if you have problems with your bile duct e.g. infection, blockage or inflammation of your bile duct or gallstones or other biliary problems

•    if you have a stomach ulcer

•    if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Taking other medicines:

Please ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Important information about some of the ingredients in Potter's Slim Aid Tablets:

This product contains Glucose Monohydrate and Sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

3. HOW TO TAKE POTTER'S SLIM AID TABLETS:

It is important that you follow the instructions carefully.

FOR ORAL USE:

Adults: Take one or two tablets three times a day.

This product must be used in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet and extra exercise.

The use in children, adolescents under 18 years and the elderly is not recommended.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

If symptoms persist or do not improve during the use of the medicinal product, a doctor or gualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.

If you take too many Potter's Slim Aid Tablets:

Stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you forget to take Potter's Slim Aid Tablets:

If you miss a dose, take the next dose at the usual time. Do not take two doses to make up for a missed dose. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist if you need advice.
