Important information about some ingredients:

This medicine contains:

•    5.5g glucose in each 5ml dose. If you have diabetes or you have intolerance to some sugars consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

•    A small amount of sodium metabisulphite which may rarely cause severe hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions) such as itching, swelling of tongue, lips, eyes and hands, and bronchospasm (wheeziness). If this happens get medical help at once.

•    This medicinal product contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100mg per 10ml.

A pleasantly-flavoured cough syrup for relief from chesty, dry or tickly coughs. The cough syrup contains ingredients which soothe the throat and have an expectorant action easing and relieving congestion.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS.

Directions for use:

Shake bottle before use.

Adults and children over 12 years:

Take two 5 ml spoonfuls three to four times daily.

DO NOT exceed the stated dose. Not more than four doses should be taken in any 24 hours. If exceeded consult your doctor immediately. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Large doses above the recommended dose may cause vomiting and diarrhoea. If this medicine upsets you in anyway consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Storing this medicine:

Do not use if the bottle cap seal is damaged, or after the expiry date (see ‘USE BEFORE' date on bottle).
