HOW DOES YOUR MEDICINE WORK?
Your medicine contains TRIAMTERENE and HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE which both belong to a group of drugs called DIURETICS (or ‘water’ tablets). Diuretics work by reducing the amount of water in the body by acting on the kidneys to increase the flow of urine. Otherwise, too much fluid in the body can raise blood pressure and overwork the different organs of the body leading to their damage.
