BEFORE TAKING DOANS BACKACHE PILLS

Before taking the pills, please check the following:

•    Are you allergic to any of the contents listed above, or aspirin?

•    Are you suffering from a stomach ulcer, or other stomach disorder?

•    Do you have gout or hemophilia?

•    Is this medicine for a child under 16 years of age?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, do not take these pills.

Consult your doctor before taking Doans Backache Pills if you are asthmatic, pregnant, breast-feeding or if you are receiving regular medical treatment or currently taking other medicines, especially anticoagulants (to thinthe blood), cholestyramine(to treat diarrhoea or lower blood lipid levels), metoclopramide (to treat nausea and vomiting), probenecid (to treat gout) or antacids (to treat indigestion).

Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. Do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. The hazards of overdose are greater in those with non-cirrhotic liver disease.

There is possible association between Aspirin and Reye's syndrome when given to children. Reyes syndrome is a very rare disease, which can be fatal. For this reason aspirin should not be given to children aged under 16 years, unless on the advice of a doctor.
