HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT:
For topical use only
Wash hands before and after use.
Adults and the elderly:
Apply to unbroken skin, with friction, three or four times daily as necessary.
Do not exceed the stated dose
The use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended
If joint pain occurs, accompanied by swelling of the joint, redness or fever, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
If symptoms worsen or persist for more than 4 weeks, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
English Herbal Medicines Embrocation is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the symptomatic relief of rheumatic or muscular pain, sprains, stiffness and lower backache including sciatica and lumbago, based on traditional use only.
English Herbal Medicines Embrocation is a brown liquid.
Ingredients: Each 1 ml of liniment contains:
Extract (as liquid extract) of Capsicum 0.041 % w/v; Cajuput oil 0.5 % v/v; Camphor 5.0% v/v; Turpentine 10.0% v/v
This product also contains the following ingredients: Soft Soap; Industrial Methylated Spirit

BEFORE YOU TAKE THIS PRODUCT Do not take this product if you:
- are allergic to any of the ingredients
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- are under 18 years of age
Do not apply to broken skin.
Keep away from the face, especially eyes and ears and mucous membranes
A transient stinging/burning sensation may occur at the treatment site. This usually diminishes after repeated applications.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, this product can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.
These include:
- skin irritation such as red itchy bumps
If side effects persist or become troublesome stop taking the product.
Tell your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner if you notice any of the above or other side effects.

If you use too much of this product (overdose)
If you use more than the recommended dose, wash off the excess. If you feel unwell speak to a doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner and take this leaflet with you.
If you forget to use this product
Continue to apply your usual dose at the usual time. It does not matter if you have missed a dose.
This product is available in packs of 150ml and 500ml and 1000ml. Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
