Oral administration: administer three times a day in water or added to a little feed. Calves: 1 to 2 tablespoonfuls (15 to 30 g) Cattle: 3 to 4 tablespoonfuls (45 to 60 g) Pigs: 2 to 3 teaspoonfuls (6 to 10 g) Piglets: Mix 3 teaspoonfuls (10 g) with 60ml of water; administer 5 ml daily. |

Pharmacodynamic properties |
|
Both the attapulgite and bone charcoal are used as absorbents on the gastro-intestinal tract of animals. Both ingredients have the capacity to potentiate the absorption of drugs administered concurrently. |

Neither ingredient is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Neither ingredient is toxic. |
