1. What is Litozin Muscle Rub and what is it used for?
Litozin Muscle Rub is a penetrating and warming cream which provides relief from aches and muscular pains, stiffness, backache, lumbago, fibrositis (pain, stiffness and tenderness of muscles, tendons and joints) and strains and is also helpful as a pre-sports rub.
2. Before you use Litozin Muscle Rub
Do not use Litozin Muscle Rub:
• if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (see section 6 fora complete list of ingredients)
• on inflamed or broken skin.
Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist before using Litozin Muscle Rub if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including:
• non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, ibuprofen)
• medicines to treat epilepsy (phenytoin, valporate)
• medicines obtained without a prescription. Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Do not use Litozin Muscle Rub if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Litozin Muscle Rub
May cause local skin reactions, such as contact dermatitis.
3. How to use Litozin Muscle Rub
For external use only.
Adults and children aged 12 and over: Apply with gentle massage 2 or 3 times daily and also at night if necessary. For maximum effect, bathe first with hot water to open the pores and ensure maximum penetration.
Not recommended for children under I 2 years old. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Litozin Muscle Rub can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Litozin Muscle Rub may cause local skin reactions, such as contact dermatitis.
If any of the side effects become serious, or if you notice any side effect not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5. How to store Litozin Muscle Rub
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use Litozin Muscle Rub after the expiry date which is stated on the packaging.
Do not store above 25°C.
Do not use if sealed tube has been damaged.
