Hill’s Balsam Chesty Cough Liquid for Children is a cough preparation which has been formulated to bring relief to your child’s congested cough.

The non-drowsy formula contains a recognised cough expectorant, a soothing agent as well as a combination of other ingredients to help warm and soothe your child’s chest.

Hill’s Balsam Chesty Cough Liquid for Children is a sugar-free, colour-free formulation with an orange taste.

DOSAGE

For children aged 2 to 6 years:

Half a 5ml spoonful three times a day and at bedtime.

Not more than 4 doses should be given in any 24 hours. (3 doses during the day + 1 at bedtime).

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine. Consult a pharmacist or other healthcare professional before use in children under 6 years.

For children aged 6 to 12 years:

One 5ml spoonful three times a day and at bedtime.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN OVER 12 YEARS, ADULTS OR THE ELDERLY.

CAUTION:

If symptoms persist, worsen, or if any other adverse effects are experienced, consult your doctor.

In the event of overdose consult a doctor immediately.

If your child had a bad reation to any of the ingredients before ask your pharmacist for advice.

Maltitol syrup may cause diarrhoea.
