•    Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you need more information or advice. What Merocets Plus are used for?

These lozenges provide relief from sore throats and blocked noses.

Merocets Plus contain cetylpyridinium chloride, menthol and eucalyptus oil. Cetylpyridinium chloride has antiseptic properties and menthol and eucalyptus help relieve nasal congestion

Before taking Merocets Plus

Do not take...

•    If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product

Take special care.

•    If your sore throat persists or worsens, consult your doctor.

•    If you are pregnant or breast-feeding talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

Important information about some of the ingredients.

If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medication.

How to take Merocets Plus

Adults and children 6 years and over:

•    Allow a lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth.

•    Take one lozenge every 3 hours as needed.

Children under 6 years:

Do not use in children under 6 years of age.

If you take too many lozenges.

If you take more of the lozenges than you should, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. Possible side effects

As with all medicines, these lozenges can have side effects in some people.

•    Some people have experience a burning feeling of the mouth.

•    There have been very rare reports of allergic skin reactions. If you develop a rash, stop taking the product and consult your doctor.

If you feel you are reacting badly to this medicine in any way, or notice any other side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

How to store Merocets Plus

•    Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

•    Do not store above 25°C.

•    Do not use this product after the expiry date shown on the pack.

•    If you find that you still have this medicine after its expiry date, return it to your local pharmacist who will dispose of it properly.

What Merocets Plus contain

Each lozenge contains 1.4mg of the active ingredient cetylpyridinium chloride, 5mg of the active ingredient menthol and 3mg of the active ingredient eucalyptus oil.

These lozenges also contain sucrose granular and glucose liquid.

Each pack contains 24 lozenges.
