Bell's Paediatric Simple Linctus BP is taken to relieve coughs in children.
PAEDIATRIC SIMPLE LINCTUS bp
(Citric Acid 31.25mg per 5ml)
For the relief of coughs in children 100ml
Oral solution.
Children from 1 month to 12 years:Take one or two 5ml spoonfuls (5ml to 10ml). The above doses may be taken up to 4 times daily.
Do not give to children under 1 month.
May upset the stomach or cause dental decay if taken in large doses. If you notice these or any other side effects, stop using the product and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Reporting of side effects: If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this label. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.
Do not use if your child Is allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use if your child is taking any products containing potassium tartrate,carbonates or bicarbonates. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicinal product
Contains 4.4g of sucrose per 5ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Citric Acid Monohydrate 31.25mg per 5ml.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not store above 25°C.
