Protect your teeth against the growing problem of acid erosion
Dentists say that our modern diets increasingly cause a tooth problem called acid erosion (or acid wear), which can even affect teeth without cavities. Some everyday foods (such as fruit) and drinks (such as orange juice and wine) contain acids which can dissolve minerals from our teeth. This softens the enamel surface, which is then more easily worn away. As the enamel gets thinner, teeth can appear less white, and become weaker and more sensitive.
If your teeth are sensitive to hot and cold foods, this can be an early sign of acid erosion.
Sensodyne Enamel-Pro Toothpaste is formulated to relieve the pain of sensitive teeth and to protect against the effects of acid erosion. It also contains fluoride, so it protects against decay like a regular toothpaste.
ALWAYS FOLLOW THE LABEL DIRECTIONS
For dental use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Use twice a day and not more than three times, minimise swallowing and spit out. Not for use by children under 12 years of age unless on advice of a dental professional or doctor. Sensitive teeth may indicate an underlying problem that needs prompt care, if symptoms persist or worsen see your dentist.
Sensodyne Enamel-Pro Toothpaste can have side effects, but not everybody gets them. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Stop using the toothpaste and talk to your dentist or doctor as soon as possible if you experience swelling of the mouth or face. These may be symptoms of an allergic reaction which is very rare. If you do get any side effects, even those not mentioned above, tell your doctor, dentist or pharmacist. | ||
