Read all of this leaflet carefully because it contains important information for you.
This medicine is available without prescription. However, you still need to take Traveleeze carefully to get the best results from it.
• Keep this leaflet. You may need to read it again.
• Ask your pharmacist if you need more information or advice.
• You must contact a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve.
• If any of the side effects get serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your pharmacist or doctor.
1. WHAT TRAVELEEZE IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Traveleeze contains Meclozine hydrochloride which is an antihistamine with properties to help prevent nausea and vomiting, particularly travel sickness. Traveleeze has been specially formulated with Ginger and Strawberry flavour in an easy to take soft and chewy pastille to prevent travel sickness in children and adults.
2. BEFORE YOU TAKE TRAVELEEZE Do not take Traveleeze
• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Meclozine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of Traveleeze
• if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
• if you have severe liver disease.
• if you have an uncommon, inherited disease called porphyria.
Where extra care with Traveleeze is needed
• if you have asthma, bronchitis or another lung disorder (bronchiectasis)
• if you are a man with an enlarged prostate
• if you have difficulty in passing urine
• if you have increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma)
• if you have an obstruction in your intestine
• if you have epilepsy
• if you have liver or kidney problems
• if the person taking it is a child or elderly. They are more likely to get side effects.
• if any of the above apply, speak to your pharmacist (or other healthcare professional) before taking Traveleeze
Traveleeze prevents you from being sick which may be a symptom of some conditions. Traveleeze may delay the early diagnosis of:
• pregnancy
• obstruction of your intestine
• raised pressure in the head.
Taking other medicines
Taking Traveleeze with the following medicines may make you feel more drowsy than expected:
• medicines to help you sleep (hypnotics)
• tranquillisers
• medicines for depression (tricyclic antidepressants and monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI's) Taking Traveleeze with antimuscarinic medicines (includes some medicines used for irritable bowel syndrome, asthma or weak bladder) can increase the risk of dry mouth, dizziness and blurred eyesight.
Taking Traveleeze with food and drink
Avoid alcohol whilst taking this medicine.
Driving and using machines
Traveleeze may cause drowsiness or blurred vision. If affected do not drive or operate machinery.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Traveleeze
• Traveleeze contains maltitol (E965) which is a polyol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking Traveleeze.
• Aspartame (E951) contains a source of phenylalanine which may be harmful to people with phenylketonuria.
3. HOW TO TAKE TRAVELEEZE
Traveleeze 12.5 mg Pastilles have a pleasant strawberry flavour and may be chewed before swallowing.
When to take Traveleeze
A single dose will give relief for up to 24 hours and therefore the pastilles may be taken the previous evening or an hour before travelling. They may also be taken if you feel sickness coming on.
Dosage per 24 hours:
Adults, the EIde rly und Children over 12 years: 2 pastilles Children over 6 to 12 years: 1 pastille Children 2 to 6 years: Half a pastille.
If you take more Traveleeze than you should
If you take too many pastilles, or experience unexpected symptoms which you think may be due to taking the medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If taken in excess of the recommended daily dose, Traveleeze may cause diarrhoea.
If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Traveleeze may cause
• drowsiness
• dry mouth
• thickened mucus
• durred vision
• difficulty in passing urine
• constipation
• increase in flow of stomach fluid back into the tfiroat or mouth (cjasffic reflux)
• if taken in excess of the recommended daity dose, this medidne may cause darrhoea.

15. HOW TO STORE TRAVELEEZE
Keep out of the reach and sight of chNdren.
Do not use Traveleeze after the use by date which is printed on the tottom of the carton. Tfie use by date refers to the last day of that montfi.
Do not store above 25°C. Store m the origmal package.

Each pastille contains 12.5mg of Meclozine hydrochloride as the active hcjredtent. Traveleeze also contains maltitol syrup (E965), gelatin, microcrysteHine cellulose / carboxymethylcellulose sodium, strawberry flavour (flavourings, propylene glycol, dthc acid monofiydrate, carmine (E120), aspartame (E951), oleoresin conger, vegetable oil/carnauba wax (vegetable oil, carnauba wax, alpha tocopfierol, citric acid), sNbon antifoam (dimethyl siloxane, glycerides, metfiy^eNdose, polyetaytene glycol stearate, xantham gum, benzol add polyethylene glycol, sordc add).
