Zerolatum® Emollient Medicinal Bath Oil is a cutaneous solution for relief of the symptoms of dry skin disorders including contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis (such as eczema), senile pruritus and ichthyosis.
For topical use as a bath additive.
Directions:
Adults and the elderly: Add 15-20ml into the bath water (8 inches deep).
Immerse and cover the affected areas with the bath water and soak for 10-20 minutes.
Pat dry with a towel.
Infants and children: Add 5-10ml to a small bath or wash basin of water.
Immerse and cover the affected areas with the bath water and soak for 10-20 minutes.
Alternatively, gently sponge repeatedly over the affected areas.
Pat dry with a towel.
Use as often as required.
Peel where shown for further warnings and precautions.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not store above 25°C.
Active ingredients: liquid paraffin 65% w/w, acetylated wool alcohols 5% w/w.
Also contains: isopropyl myristate and C12-C13 pareth-3.

Zerolatum® is added to the bath water and acts as an emollient. It adds a thin layer of oil to the skin, helping to soften dry flaky skin, and reduce further water loss from the skin after bathing.
1. Before you use this medicine ■Do not use the medicine if ....
• You are allergic to acetylated wool alcohols or any of the ingredients listed in section 3.
■Precautions for use
• Take care not to slip in the bath or shower.
• After use, clean the bath with detergent to remove the slipperiness.
■Pregnant or breastfeeding
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unlikely to have any adverse effect when used as directed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if unsure.

2. Possible side effects
Contact sensitivity skin reactions may occur if sensitised to one or more ingredients of Zerolatum® Emollient Medicinal Bath Oil. Irritation is normally mild and occurs infrequently.
If you notice these or any other side effects, stop use and tell your doctor or pharmacist. They will tell you what to do.

■If you accidentally swallow some
• If you accidentally swallow some bath oil see a doctor straight away. Take the pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the bottle. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
The active ingredients are: liquid paraffin 65% w/w, acetylated wool alcohols 5% w/w.
The other ingredients are: isopropyl myristate and C12-C13 pareth-3.

Zerolatum® Emollient Medicinal Bath Oil is a colourless to pale yellow oily liquid.
It is supplied in 150ml, 250ml, 350ml, 500ml and 1000ml bottles.
